I first joined 121 Fitness in October 2013. I was just under 20 stone in weight. I felt unfit and very embarrassed that I had gotten to the weight I was. However, from the start, I felt at ease. It’s not about making someone feel inadequate, it’s all about taking it one step at a time, no issue about weight, fitness levels etc..

Darrel gears it to your individual ability. There is also a great diversity in classes to choose from.

I have progressed with a lot of work, and a fair bit of patience from Darrel. I am now a lot fitter and down 5 stone at the last count. In my opinion, I couldn’t have done it without 121 Fitness

I would whole heartedly recommend joining 121 fitness no matter what your fitness level. It’s a fantastic setup, with a professional trainer in Darrel, and a great bunch of like minded people with the same focus.

I am 38 years of age and a painter & decorator. I am married to siobhan and have two baby girls. In March 2013, after spending time jumping from one gym to another, to no avail, I learned of Darrel and 121 Fitness. On seeing a mate of mine lose so much weight in a short time I decided to give it a go. I was not one for any real type of sport or activity, before this I always kept to myself in the gym.

My first 8 week Beat The Bulge challenge went really well I had lost 24.5lb, going on to be the winner of this stage, what a boast this was. This led me on to join in 121 Fitness “Fit Club challenge” very tough at the start as my fitness was still not up to scratch, but with plenty of encouragement from the Team I stuck it out, going on to win the second stage. Its now August 2014 and I’m still going strong and on our last challenge lost a further 17lb. I just wish to take the time now to thank Darrel and Yvette of 121 Fitness for their help and wish then all the best in the future.
